Yesterday was wonderful. I got to go for 'counselling'. or the 'getting to know you session' and playing of the ungame game. Mrs Wong was great, and i think Crescent has the best counsellor in the whole of Singapore:). not only skipping CME is somehow great, but the session was fun too. ME, Kimberly, Jing Yi, Wan Ying, Chia Lun and Poorani were the ones who went. ya, isn't it great? we could have all the space we wanted in the room. 6 people only :) after school i took out my lollipop and ate, but suddenly i see ants around me. not attracted to the lollipop, though, but to me.Kimberly started helping me slap all the ants she could find on me, and everytime she would be asking "What happened to you??" hahaha. ants-attracter.but they were not hte ordinary black ants, they were the harmless little tiny red-coloured ants. they are so small that when they crawl on your hand you can't feel anything. anyway the higher Chinese paper was quite easy and okay, at least i could finish it in time. but somewhere between i got disracted don't know by what, and couldn't continue with the compre questions. i was driven CrAzY by thise comprehension questions. 4 comprehension questions, including 2 partially MCQ compres and 2 open-ended which 1 of them has a summary. that was the worst paper i've ever took, and my hand's breaking. but i'll never complain--it's just another beginning of a new challenge in life. I don't mind it :). i just won't complain about Chinese papers- i just enjoyed it. as long as i still get a reasonable result, i have no worries;no complains.
today was literature paper. and i can be sure my hand's breaking. i can't believe i could write 5 essays in 2 hr 10 mins. whenever i look at the time, i thought i'll never complete my work. but i managed to comeplete it b4 time, and even got 10 minutes to check. halfway between i got disracted- and i spent the most time on the first essay. i started to tremble at the beginning, for i couldn't concentrate and i just don't know what to write. my mind went blank. then i started to relax a bit. i slowly wrote down word by word. i completed the first essay in 35 mins. quite long, though. then i began to rush for the next few essays. i was quite fast for the 2nd one, then a little slow for the 3rd one as it is a set-text question. i hope i didn't misquote, though, as i never study for literature at all. i made notes, but didn't really concentrate on quotes. in fact, i don't STUDY for languages at all. how do we study them? it's not like maths and science where you have to study and memorise the formulas and facts. it's just how you use them. my only way that improves my languages is LISTENING ATTENTIVELY IN CLASS. i am honoured to be able to sit at the front where i could hear everything the teacher says very clearly. I TREASURE my seat at the front. Thank you, Miss Tan for giving me this priority. I'm sure i could be the best IT rep you've ever met, in return. :) anyway, i enjoy my job. i'm a IT maniac and IT savvy person, that's why, and i love handling with these wires and even engines and stuffs like that. anything that's related to technology. i get to learn how to repair little machines when i'm young, which made me love the subject now. i don't do the job for the praise of the teachers, but for the love of IT and technology. i plan to invent machines when i grow up. anyway, i love robots and use to be the leader of my Robotics team, which took part in the National Junior Robotics Competition. and we achieved... eh... number 35th in Singapore :).
anyway, i'll stop here for now. I WISH EVERYONE GOOD LUCK AND ALL THE BEST IN ALL YOUR SA1 EXAMINATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (don't make Miss Tan disappointed) :)
