yesterday was trainfire... and the best. i wore NO.4 uniform to school, and it was both warm and enjoyable. i feel so cool. hee hee. then it was quite awkward to wear the uniform to play captain's ball... at about 12pm we could leave the class already. weee....
then after lunch we set off by bus to HQ. today's IC was Private Ryhan. while we were going to leave the school (still going slowly away from the foyer's shelter), Miss Tan, or ma'am, came out of the general office and was walking towards the bus when she saw the bus leaving. so she called out to Mr Chan, or sir. then he saw her and told the uncle to "stop, stop" ai yai yai yai yai. how can sir be so... i dun know. forgetful, maybe.
reached there as the first school to arrive. crescent's pride. =) we reached there, then Sir lead us to a hall. actually, the wrong place. so off we go again then walk walk walk to another place to take our arms. wow. each person take 2 rifles somemore. i was wondering why take so many? then still have to carry our bag plus carry 2 rifles and walk up to another hall where the training took place. i dun complain, but eh... the difficulty is it's quite oily and was going to slip off my hands anytime.
we arranged the rifles in groups of ten, then fall in as CRESCENT. then we heard students coming. NAN HUA sec NCC units. the girls and the boys. so i think the rifles we also take for them as well la... never mind. can train armpower. =) then came BPGHS NCC unit, and etc (the boys unit mostly).
then when everyone settled, we were taught the stripping and assembling of the rifles, as well as loading and unloading and IAIA(immediate action). a cadet lieutenant was our sir or "coach". yay i was one of the faster ones in the stripping rifles. the first time i assemble then i was slower, but improve at the second time =). we also learnt to insert rounds and remove rounds, and also the ten-cent test. it is when the sir will put a ten-cent coin on the barrel of the rifle to balance it, while we prone and hold on to our rifles, and then make us switch to semi and squeeze the trigger, which will make a "click" sound. if the 10-cent coin didn't fall while balancing and after i squeeze the trigger, that means my rifle is steady, or my hands and arms are steady too. yay mine didn't drop =D.
anyway i'm tired now... awww... will talk more about it later. good night... zzzzzzzz..
