well, IMT wasn't that scary after all. at least i passed all the rounds during the test.
the place we went wasn't amoy quee, but Pasir Laba camp. as we pass by the life ranges it was SO COOL okay. hope i can do life range shooting one day. when we reach there abt 2 schools' units were already there, one being ACS(I). if i'm not wrong the other one should be Fajar Sec. we very guai one lor, when we sit down we never fidget or talk lo... do CRESCENT proud =) as the Specs have said, in school we represent NCC, outside school we represent CRESCENT.
then got briefing by the Sirs... then divided into details. i was in detail 4 lane 5. we all had been assistants, and the Sirs were all saying we are good =). then when it was my turn i prone and got reaady la. the first round was ok, passed. the second, third and fourth was passed too, just that the fourth shot was a MARKSMAN. yay. 3.1cm. anyway <6cm then pass, <4cm then MARKSMAN.
my assistant was quite blur anyway, and when i needed to adjust my sandbag he doesn't seem to know what to do. at last Staff (ahemahem) have to do the job. shame la he. after i finish my shooting rounds i had to stay and assist detail 5, where almost the whole detail are blurs. omg they dun even seem to know how to load and unload. no offence, though. we were quite shocked, really, so we told them every step they have to do.
then after the tests we from CRESCENT had a retest, which is to aim for MARKSMAN. but unfortunately i did worst, at lane 19, and even failed one round. 19.1 cm. omg. just because of that ONE shot that flew when my elbow slipped because of my sleeve. WASTED.
after everything we went outside to wait for the bus, where we had to make our uniform to Smart No.4. short sleeve, in short. so we helped each other fold up the sleeves, and Staff (ahemahem) was not happy with how we fold so she taught me, chih yin and chen ting (she's sitting in front of us that time la). at first she help chih yin fold to demo to chen ting and me, but then she also helped me fold my right sleeve. =D. haha she joked that chen ting is very lucky as me and chih yin was helping her fold her sleeves, each on one side. so she had 2 people helping her sia. 一脚踏两船 according to Staff (ahemahem). AHAHAHAHA.
on the way back to sch we sang cheers in the bus, and had to satisfy each Spec that went with us by singing their favourite cheer LOUD and CLEAR. at last when we reach i dunno whether they satisfies or not la, altough they seemed to be. came down from the bus at the shelter in front of foyer and fall in. then we march from there down to the service road and did some drills there. then had 10 mins break, fall in again and do some drills again, especially doing hantak kaki cheers =). when everything ended they decided that we can get what we wanted-- that is when they told us that we're PROMOTED. HOORAY! well done, Alpha!
after being dismiss we stayed for a while then took part photos with the Specs. it was tough having to call Staff (ahemahem) and USM out to take photos with us la.
